Welcome to Istanbul! The start of your journey! Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to your hotel and have time to relax or explore at your own pace. Later in the day, our tour representative will meet you to share important information about your journey.

Day 2 - Tuesday
Istanbul
Today begins with a panoramic sightseeing tour of Istanbul, a remarkable city bridging Europe and Asia. Highlights include a visit to the Süleymaniye Mosque—the largest mosque in the city—along with views of the historic city walls, the Golden Horn, and the lively fishing quarter. You’ll also have the opportunity to view the exterior of the iconic Hagia Sophia.
In the late afternoon, we’ll head to Taksim, Istanbul’s energetic commercial hub. Enjoy time at leisure to choose from its many dining options, take a ride on the nostalgic streetcar, or explore nearby landmarks such as the Galata Tower.

Day 3 - Wednesday
Istanbul · Ankara
The day begins with a visit to Topkapi Palace, once the seat of power of the Ottoman Empire, renowned for its elegant courtyards and historic pavilions.
Next, we’ll enjoy a scenic Bosphorus cruise lasting approximately two hours aboard a private boat. As we sail along the waterway linking the Black Sea and the Sea of Marmara, you’ll witness the dynamic life of the strait that separates Istanbul’s European and Asian shores. Along the route, we’ll pass beneath the bridges connecting the two continents and take in views of imperial palaces, classic wooden residences, and distinctive Ottoman-era architecture.
After disembarking on the Asian side in the Üsküdar area, we’ll continue our journey across the Anatolian Peninsula toward Ankara, arriving in time for dinner.

Day 4 - Thursday
Ankara · Cappadocia
Following breakfast, we’ll set out to explore Ankara, Turkey’s modern capital and a lively cultural center. Home to more than five million residents, the city features prominent institutions such as the State Opera and Ballet, the Presidential Symphony Orchestra, and several national theater companies. Our sightseeing includes the Mausoleum of Atatürk, the historic Ankara Castle dating back to the 8th century BC, and the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations and the exhibits trace the many cultures that have shaped the region.
We then continue toward Cappadocia, stopping along the way at the Salt Lake to enjoy its striking scenery and have lunch. Our journey also includes a visit to Hacıbektaş, an important pilgrimage destination. Visitors are asked to dress modestly and remain respectful and quiet, as the site contains the tomb of Hacıbektaş, a 13th-century Sufi spiritual leader.
In the evening, we arrive in Nevşehir.

Day 5 - Friday
Cappadocia
Today is dedicated to exploring the remarkable landscapes of Cappadocia, renowned for its otherworldly rock formations, ancient cave churches, and traditional troglodyte villages. We begin in the Göreme Valley, visiting the Open-Air Museum to admire its extraordinary rock-hewn churches.
Next, we head to Uçhisar to see its natural fortress, followed by a tour of Kaymaklı, an underground city that once sheltered up to 30,000 inhabitants. On the return to Avanos, we’ll stop at Paşabağ, the area famous for its “Fairy Chimneys,” where you can take a scenic walk among these unique formations. The day concludes with some free time before dinner.

Day 6 - Saturday
Cappadocia · Ihlara · Konya
We travel to the far reaches of Cappadocia to visit the Ihlara Valley, known for its serene waters and remarkable rock-cut churches and villages. Our journey continues with stops at a 13th-century caravanserai and the Mevlana Mausoleum in Konya, where we’ll learn about the traditions of the Whirling Dervishes.

Day 7 - Sunday
Konya · Eğirdir · Pamukkale
We’ll travel along a scenic route passing beautiful lakes, arriving in Eğirdir, a picturesque town on the shores of a large lake, known for its historic walls and mosques. There will be time to enjoy lunch here before we continue to Hierapolis and Pamukkale. At Pamukkale, the region’s mineral-rich waters have created the breathtaking terraces known as the “Cotton Castle”.

Day 8 - Monday
Pamukkale · Ephesus · Kuşadası
Our journey continues to Ephesus, one of the most well-preserved ancient cities in Asia Minor. Once home to around 250,000 people, the city offers remarkable sites including the House of the Virgin Mary, the Basilica of St. John, and the ancient city ruins.
Afterward, we’ll head to Kuşadası, a lively coastal town famous for its shops, vibrant atmosphere, and small castle.

Day 9 - Tuesday
Kuşadası · Bodrum · Marmaris
We depart early to visit one of Turkey’s natural treasures, Lake Bafa, taking time to enjoy its tranquil surroundings. Our journey continues to Bodrum, a beautiful fortified city with Greek origins. Here, you can explore its impressive castle, stroll through its bustling streets filled with shops and cafes, or visit the marina. After lunch, we head to Marmaris, a charming coastal town known for its castle, pier, and fountains.

Day 10 - Wednesday
Marmaris · Rhodes
We’ll set off early for Greece, boarding the express ferry to Rhodes, a journey of about one hour. Standard border-crossing procedures will apply. Once in Rhodes, we’ll explore the walled city and historic quarter, a place shaped by centuries of Greek, Roman, Byzantine, Knights of St. John, Ottoman, and Italian influences.
In the afternoon, you’ll have free time to explore at your own pace.

Day 11 - Thursday
Rhodes
Today we’ll take an excursion to explore more of Rhodes Island. Our first stop is Filerimos, perched on a hilltop, where you can visit the monastery and enjoy the stunning surrounding landscapes.
Next, we travel to Lindos to explore its Acropolis and fortress, offering spectacular views over the sea. Wander through its charming whitewashed streets, relax on one of its beaches, or choose a traditional donkey ride up to the Acropolis.
Later in the day, we’ll return to the port of Rhodes to board a ferry bound for Athens.

Day 12 - Friday
Athens Ferry · Tripoli · Olympia · Patras
We arrive in Athens-Piraeus at 7:00 a.m. and continue into the Peloponnese. Our first stop is the Corinth Canal, an impressive 19th-century engineering marvel. Traveling through the mountains, we reach Tripoli, the capital of Arcadia, where you can take a break and stroll around the lively Aeros Square with its cafes and restaurants.
Next, we visit Olympia, guided through the Archaeological Site. This is where the first Olympic Games were held in 776 B.C., drawing athletes from across Greece and its colonies. Key highlights include the Temple of Zeus, the Stadium, the Gymnasium, and the Arena.
Our journey then continues to Patras, Greece’s third-largest city, known for its medieval fortress and the country’s largest cathedral. Nearby is the small Church of St. Andrew, an important pilgrimage site.

Day 13 - Saturday
Patras · Nafpaktos · Mycenae · Acrocorinth · Athens
After breakfast, we’ll cross the spectacular Rio-Antirrio Bridge, a cable-stayed marvel connecting the Peloponnese with mainland Greece. Our first stop is Nafpaktos, situated on the Gulf of Corinth. Its Venetian fortress, overlooking the town, recalls its historic role as Lepanto, where the famous naval battle between Christian and Ottoman fleets took place—a conflict during which Cervantes lost his arm. You’ll have free time to stroll along the picturesque harbor and wander through the charming old town.
Continuing along the Gulf of Corinth, we arrive at Mycenae, the ancient citadel dating back to the 18th century BC, often considered a cradle of European civilization. Enjoy free time for lunch and to explore the historic site.
Next, we visit the imposing Acrocorinth Fortress, where the remains of an ancient Temple of Aphrodite crown the highest point of the settlement. We’ll make a brief stop at the Corinth Canal before continuing our journey, arriving in Athens in the evening.
