The journey begins in Istanbul, one of the world’s most extraordinary cities, uniquely positioned between Europe and Asia. Upon arrival, guests are transferred to their hotel and welcomed by a tour representative. A panoramic sightseeing tour introduces the city’s rich heritage, including the Süleymaniye Mosque, views of the Golden Horn, historic city walls, and the exterior of the iconic Hagia Sophia. Time in Taksim Square allows guests to experience Istanbul’s modern energy, lively streets, and cultural landmarks. A visit to Topkapi Palace, the former residence of Ottoman sultans, provides insight into imperial life, followed by a private Bosphorus cruise, offering unforgettable views of palaces, bridges, and waterfront mansions lining both the European and Asian shores. The journey continues across the Anatolian Peninsula to Ankara, Turkey’s modern capital.

In Ankara, the tour explores key cultural and historical sites, including the Mausoleum of Atatürk, Ankara Castle, and the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations, where the region’s rich past is brought vividly to life. Traveling onward through the heart of Anatolia, the journey pauses at the Salt Lake and the sacred town of Hacıbektaş, before reaching Cappadocia, one of Turkey’s most remarkable regions.

Cappadocia’s extraordinary landscape of volcanic formations, cave dwellings, and ancient churches forms the highlight of the tour. Visits include the Göreme Open-Air Museum, the rock citadel of Uçhisar, the underground city of Kaymaklı, and the iconic “Fairy Chimneys” of Paşabağ. The journey continues through the tranquil Ihlara Valley, with its rock-cut churches and flowing river, before reaching Konya, home of the Mevlana Mausoleum and the spiritual legacy of the Whirling Dervishes.

From Konya, the route travels through scenic lake districts to Eğirdir, before arriving at Pamukkale, where mineral-rich waters have formed the dazzling white terraces known as the “Cotton Castle.”

Nearby Hierapolis offers insight into ancient Roman spa culture. The journey then continues to Ephesus, one of the best-preserved classical cities in the world, featuring monumental ruins, the House of the Virgin Mary, and the Basilica of St. John, before reaching the coastal town of Kuşadası.

Following visits to Lake Bafa and the historic port city of Bodrum, with its imposing castle and lively marina, the tour proceeds to Marmaris, a picturesque seaside town. From here, guests cross the Aegean Sea by ferry to the Greek island of Rhodes, where centuries of Greek, Roman, Byzantine, Crusader, Ottoman, and Italian influences converge.
