ATHENS
DAY 01 : Arrival
Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to your hotel and have some free time to relax. In the afternoon, you’ll receive information regarding the start of your tour.
ATHENS + TRIPOLI + OLYMPIA + PATRAS
DAY 02
We’ll head to the Peloponnese, stopping briefly at the Corinth Canal, a remarkable 19th-century engineering feat. Traveling through the mountains, we’ll reach Tripoli, the capital of Arcadia, where you can explore the lively AerosSquare with its cafes and restaurants. Next, we’ll visit Olympia, exploring its Archaeological Site with a local guide. This is the birthplace of the Olympic Games, first held in 776 B.C., featuring the Temple of Zeus, the Stadium, Gymnasium, and Arena. We’ll then continue to Patras, Greece’s third-largest city, home to an impressive medieval fortress and the country’s largest cathedral, alongside the small pilgrimage church of St. Andrew.
PATRAS + NAFPAKTOS + MYCENAE + ACROCORINTH + ATHENS
DAY 03
After breakfast, we’ll cross the Rio-Antirrio Bridge, an impressive cable-stayed structure linking the Peloponnese with mainland Greece. Our first stop is Nafpaktos on the Gulf of Corinth, where the Venetian fortress overlooking the town recalls its historic role as Lepanto, site of the famous naval battle in which Cervantes lost his arm. Enjoy free time to wander the charming harbor and old town. Continuing along the Gulf, we’ll reach Mycenae, a massive citadel from the 18th century BC, considered the cradle of European civilization. Next, we’ll visit the Fortress of Acrocorinth, home to the remains of an ancient Temple of Aphrodite atop the hill. A brief stop at the Corinth Canal follows, before arriving in Athens in the evening.

DAY 04

ATHENS + ATHENS + RHODES FERRY
DAY 05
We’ll enjoy a panoramic tour of Athens, seeing the Presidential Mansion, the Panathenaic Stadium—home of the first modern Olympic Games—the National Library, lively downtown squares, and the 2004 Olympic infrastructure. The tour concludes near the Acropolis. In the afternoon, we’ll transfer you to Piraeus Port to board an overnight ferry with cruise-ship-style amenities. Accommodation will be in a double cabin. Overnight on board.
RHODES + MARMARIS
DAY 06
Arriving in Rhodes early in the morning, we’ll begin with a city tour featuring the impressive walled citadel and Old Town, reflecting the influences of Greek, Roman, Byzantine, Knights of St. John, Ottoman, and Italian cultures. In the afternoon, we’ll take a 1-hour express ferry to Turkey. Upon arrival in Marmaris, a charming coastal town known for its castle, marina, and fountains, we’ll check into our hotel.
MARMARIS + DALYAN + ANTALYA
DAY 07
We’ll travel to Dalyan, a picturesque area along a scenic river. A 1-hour boat ride is included to see the Lycian RockTombs, followed by a journey to a large lake with hot springs, where you can choose to swim or enjoy a mud bath. Afterwards, we’ll continue to Antalya, a lively coastal city of over a million people, where we’ll explore highlights such as Hadrian’s Gate, the Ottoman quarter, and its stunning waterfall that flows directly into the sea.
ANTALYA + ASPENDOS + SIDE + KARAMAN + NIGDE
DAY 08
We’ll depart Antalya and head to Aspendos to explore its Roman theater, considered one of the best-preserved in the world. Next, we’ll visit Side, where you can admire the Temple of Apollo by the sea and stroll through its vibrant port and streets. Traveling through breathtaking landscapes, we’ll cross the Taurus Mountains, whose peaks reach over 3,500 meters and stay snow-capped most of the year. We’ll make a brief stop in Karaman to view its fortress from the outside before continuing to Cappadocia.
NIGDE + CAPPADOCIA
DAY 09
We’ll dedicate the day to exploring the stunning region of Cappadocia, renowned for its otherworldly landscapes, ancient churches, and troglodyte villages. Our journey begins at Gumusler, a 7th-century underground monastery featuring some of Turkey’s finest Byzantine frescoes. In Kaymacli, we’ll explore an underground city that once sheltered up to 30,000 people. Next, we’ll visit Uchisar, a natural fortress with breathtaking panoramic views. After lunch, we’ll discover the Göreme Valley, home to an open-air museum showcasing remarkable rock-cut churches.
CAPPADOCIA + SAFRANBOLU
DAY 10
We’ll spend a wonderful day journeying through the heart of Anatolia, heading north as the scenery becomes lush and green. By early afternoon, we’ll reach Safranbolu, a charming UNESCO World Heritage town that was once an important stop along ancient caravan routes. In the courtyard of a well-preserved caravanserai, you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy traditional Turkish tea.
SAFRANBOLU + GÖKGÖL MAGRASI + EREGLI + ISTANBUL
DAY 11
Today, we’ll travel along the scenic Black Sea coast, enjoying the region’s lush green landscapes. Our first stop is Gökgöl Mağarası, explore this stunning cave with its underground river and vivid colors. In the coastal town of Ereğli, you’ll enjoy lunch, followed by a visit to the fascinating Cehennemagzi caves and tombs, steeped in mythology. We’ll arrive in Istanbul by evening.
ISTANBUL
DAY 12
A full sightseeing tour of Istanbul awaits us. We’ll visit the Süleymaniye Mosque, the largest in the city, explore the ancient city walls, admire the Golden Horn, and the bustling fishing district, and take in the exterior of Hagia Sophia. Visit Topkapi Palace, the former administrative center of the Ottoman Empire, with its stunning courtyards and pavilions. In the afternoon, you’ll have free time to explore this unique city that spans two continents. Later, we’ll transfer you to Taksim, Istanbul’s lively commercial hub, enjoy dinner and see the charming old tram.
ISTANBUL
DAY 13
Today, we’ll set out on a 2-hour Bosphorus boat trip. This scenic journey will take us along the strait that links the Black Sea to the Sea of Marmara, separating Istanbul into its European and Asian sides. We’ll enjoy the bustling activity of the waterway, pass under the two bridges connecting the continents, and admire the sultans’ palaces, traditional wooden homes, and striking Ottoman architecture. Afterwards, we’ll return to central Istanbul, leaving you some free time to explore at your leisure.
