This enriching journey through Greece begins in Athens, the cradle of Western civilisation. Upon arrival, guests are transferred to their hotel and welcomed by a tour representative who provides an overview of the itinerary. Time is available to relax or explore independently before enjoying a welcome dinner.

Leaving Athens, the route heads north through scenic landscapes to Kamena Vourla, a peaceful seaside town, followed by a stop at the historic Thermopylae Pass, famed for the legendary battle of antiquity. The journey continues to Kalambaka, gateway to the awe-inspiring Meteora, where monasteries perched atop towering rock formations create one of Greece’s most dramatic UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Traveling south through Thessaly, the tour reaches Delphi, once considered the center of the ancient world. Set high above the Gulf of Corinth, the archaeological site offers both historical depth and striking views. The day also includes a visit to the Hosios Loukas Monastery, a masterpiece of Byzantine architecture renowned for its exquisite mosaics, before returning to Athens.

A guided tour of Athens introduces the city’s most significant landmarks, including the Presidential Palace, Panathenaic Stadium, National Library, and major squares, concluding at the Acropolis, symbol of ancient Greek achievement. In the evening, guests experience the lively atmosphere of the Plaka district, known for its traditional tavernas and historic streets.

The journey continues into the Peloponnese, beginning with a stop at the impressive Corinth Canal, followed by scenic travel to Tripoli and onward to Olympia, birthplace of the Olympic Games. A guided visit reveals the Temple of Zeus, the ancient stadium, and training grounds. The day concludes in Patras, a vibrant port city with important religious landmarks.

Crossing the modern Rio–Antirrio Bridge, the tour visits Nafpaktos, a picturesque harbor town with a rich Venetian past, before continuing to Mycenae, one of Europe’s earliest advanced civilizations. The imposing fortress of Acrocorinth provides a final historic highlight before returning to Athens.

After breakfast on the final day, the tour concludes, leaving guests with lasting memories of Greece’s legendary history, diverse landscapes, and cultural heritage.
