Upon arrival, guests are transferred to their hotel and welcomed by a tour representative who provides essential information about the days ahead. The first evening offers an introduction to Rome’s vibrant atmosphere with a visit to Via Cavour, setting the tone for an unforgettable experience. The following day is dedicated to an in-depth guided exploration of Rome, combining a walking tour of Imperial Rome with a panoramic drive. Highlights include the Arch of Constantine, the exterior of the Colosseum, the Imperial Forums, Circus Maximus, the Baths of Caracalla, Santa Maria Maggiore, the Pyramid of Cestius, and Castel Sant’Angelo. The tour concludes at Vatican City, with the opportunity to optionally visit the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel. Leaving Rome, the journey continues north to Florence, traveling through the scenic Italian countryside. Upon arrival, guests enjoy panoramic views from Piazzale Michelangelo before exploring the historic center. A guided walking tour reveals Florence’s artistic and architectural treasures, including the Duomo, Ponte Vecchio, and Piazza della Signoria, offering an intimate encounter with the Renaissance city often described as an open-air museum.

The tour then crosses the Apennine Mountains en route to Venice, one of the world’s most unique and romantic cities. Arrival is marked by a boat crossing of the Giudecca Canal, followed by a guided visit to St. Mark’s Square, the heart of Venetian life. The tour visits the Grindelwald area, offering mountain views and a cable car ascent, before continuing to Lucerne, a city celebrated for its lakeside setting and historic charm. Highlights include free time in Lucerne and an unforgettable rotating cable car ride to the summit of Mount Titlis, where guests experience glacier landscapes and panoramic views from over 3,000 meters above sea level, before returning to Zürich.
