Discover British Isles
This enriching journey through the British Isles and Ireland begins in London, one of the world’s most historic and cosmopolitan capitals. Upon arrival, guests are transferred to their hotel and welcomed by a tour representative who provides an overview of the itinerary. The remainder of the day is at leisure to rest or explore independently, followed by a welcome dinner.
The following day is dedicated to discovering London with a guided city tour highlighting its most iconic landmarks, including Westminster, the Houses of Parliament, the historic City of London, and the River Thames. The afternoon is free, with an optional excursion to the Thames Valley and Windsor Castle, residence of the British monarchy. In the evening, guests experience the vibrant atmosphere of Piccadilly, Leicester Square, Chinatown, and Soho, renowned for their theaters, nightlife, and cultural diversity.
Departing London, the tour travels north to Cambridge, home to one of the world’s most prestigious universities, where its elegant colleges and riverside setting create a timeless atmosphere. The journey continues to York, celebrated for its magnificent Gothic cathedral, Roman walls, and medieval streets, before reaching Durham, a historic town dominated by its impressive Norman cathedral and castle, both UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
Crossing into Scotland, the route includes a stop in Alnwick, famous for its grand medieval castle and beautifully landscaped gardens. The tour then arrives in Edinburgh, Scotland’s capital and a UNESCO-listed city known for its dramatic skyline, dominated by Edinburgh Castle. A panoramic guided tour introduces the city’s rich history, elegant Georgian avenues, and medieval Old Town.
One of the highlights of the journey is the exploration of the Scottish Highlands, a region of outstanding natural beauty. Traveling through Pitlochry, the route continues to Inverness and the legendary Loch Ness, where guests visit Urquhart Castle and enjoy a scenic boat cruise. The journey proceeds through Fort Augustus and Fort William, near Ben Nevis, before following the shores of Loch Lomond and arriving in Glasgow, Scotland’s largest city.
From Glasgow, the tour continues south to Cairnryan, where a ferry crossing leads to Northern Ireland. In Belfast, guests gain insight into the city’s complex history and modern revival before continuing onward to Dublin, the capital of the Republic of Ireland.
In Dublin, a panoramic city tour introduces the city’s graceful streets, parks, and historic landmarks, including views of Trinity College and the banks of the River Liffey. The afternoon is free to explore the city independently, enjoy its cultural life, or relax in one of its traditional cafés or pubs.
After breakfast on the final day, the tour concludes, leaving participants with lasting memories of a journey that combines iconic cities, dramatic landscapes, and the rich cultural heritage of England, Scotland, Northern Ireland, and Ireland.
