Discover Europe
This extensive European journey offers a richly layered exploration of some of the continent’s most iconic cities, landscapes, and cultural treasures, beginning in Prague, the historic capital of the Czech Republic. Upon arrival, guests are transferred to their hotel and welcomed by a tour representative who provides a detailed introduction to the itinerary. An evening visit to Prague’s vibrant Old Town Square sets the tone for the journey ahead. The following day is devoted to Prague’s architectural and historical heritage, including a panoramic city tour and a visit to Prague Castle, followed by a relaxing cruise on the Vltava River and free time to explore independently.
Leaving Prague, the tour travels through Pilsen, famed for its brewing heritage and elegant historic center, before crossing into Germany and following part of the Romantic Road to Rothenburg ob der Tauber, a remarkably preserved medieval town. The journey continues to Frankfurt, Germany’s financial center. The next day features a scenic Rhine River cruise, passing vineyard-covered hills and castles, followed by a visit to Cologne and its magnificent Gothic cathedral, before arriving in Amsterdam.
In the Netherlands, the tour explores traditional Dutch life at Zaanse Schans, Volendam, and Marken, before a guided tour of Amsterdam highlights its canals, cultural districts, and diamond-cutting heritage. Traveling south, the journey reaches Bruges, a medieval Belgian city renowned for its canals and historic charm, and continues onward to Paris.
Paris is explored in depth, including a visit to Versailles (exterior and gardens), the bohemian district of Montmartre, and a panoramic city tour showcasing the French capital’s grand boulevards and landmarks. Guests also visit the Eiffel Tower, enjoy a Seine River cruise, and have free time to experience the city at leisure. Departing Paris, the tour enters the Burgundy region, stopping in Beaune, before continuing to Lyon, a UNESCO World Heritage city with a rich Roman and Renaissance legacy.
Crossing into Switzerland, the journey includes highlights of Geneva, the lakeside town of Neuchâtel, and arrival in Zurich. A guided tour of Zurich and a scenic Lake Zurich cruise lead to Rapperswil, followed by a return by train. The tour continues into the alpine heartland, visiting the Interlaken region, ascending to Grindelwald First by cable car for breathtaking glacier views, and stopping in Lucerne, one of Switzerland’s most picturesque cities.
Traveling south across the Alps, the route passes through Bellinzona, known for its UNESCO-listed medieval castles, before entering Italy at Lake Como and continuing to Milan, where highlights include the Piazza del Duomo. The journey then proceeds to Pisa to see the world-famous Leaning Tower, before arriving in Rome.
The tour concludes in the Eternal City with a comprehensive guided visit combining a walking tour of Imperial Rome and a panoramic coach tour, covering landmarks such as the Colosseum (exterior), Roman Forums, Circus Maximus, Castel Sant’Angelo, and Vatican City, with optional access to the Vatican Museums.
